Sump Pump Utility Mold Growth

The house in Citrus Heights also had a backed up drain from the sump pump which caused a very high amount of moisture to remain in this enclosed utility closet. The black mold deeply penetrated into the drywall necessitating a demolition. We wrapped and discarded the contaminated materials per strict California codes as the plumber dislodged the debris in the drainage system. We then sprayed an antifungal product on all the exposed areas of the closet. We utilized air scrubbers to limit any spores, dust, or particles of mold from circulating throughout the house during the mold remediation. This area, along with the remainder of this severely infested home, was contracted out to complete the rebuild.
