This bank owned Citrus Heights property had a newly installed water heater that leaked; it went unnoticed for several weeks allowing for the wide spreading of mold. These fungi had spread through the back wall as seen into the adjacent wall which also needed to be demolished. We sanitized the open walls and framing and even stripped the hardwood flooring as requested by the bank. We primed the treated and damaged wood with a special anti-fungal primer before the reinstallation of drywall.
