There are over 100,000 kinds of fungi. Some are used in cooking and baking. Some are eaten in cheese, but some are hazardous to your health.

The reason you may see it around your home is that mold grows where there is moisture. Areas such as your kitchen or bath are hot spots. They can also grow in places you least expect it so be careful. They can also grow under your carpet.
